About this file

This document contains specifications from the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) for a one (1) year contract with one (1) option to renew for the purchase and delivery of "pure" channel catfish to the Bill Dance Signature Lakes (BDSL) event. The contract requires the delivery of 26,800 pounds of catfish over the term, with deliveries occurring twice per year in April and October. The fish must meet specific size and health requirements, and non-target species are not allowed. The contract is split into three regions, with the lowest bid price per region being awarded. Delivery dates and times will be established through mutual agreement, and the contractor will be responsible for the delivery and off-loading of the live catfish.

Pricing for the contract is based on a delivered price per pound for the catfish. At least 50% of the catfish must be produced by the contracted vendor. The contract does not guarantee a minimum purchase amount due to potential budgetary restraints. The contractor will be responsible for all delivery charges, and TWRA will not pay for dead or diseased fish.
