About this file
This product specification document pertains to the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife's procurement for the purchase and delivery of corn fertilizer to Sauvie Island Wildlife Area. The solicitation requires 18 tons of a 26-12-10-4 fertilizer blend containing 26% total nitrogen, 12% available phosphate, 10% soluble potash, and 4% sulfur. The fertilizer must be delivered to the wildlife area shop at 29005 NW Reeder Rd, Portland, OR 97231 on or before June 15th, 2026. Delivery shall consist of one 5-ton tote on initial delivery with the remaining 13 tons to be delivered by tender when called by wildlife area staff. This is an intermediate procurement governed by OAR 125-047-0270, and the agency will not be accepting protests.
The 5-ton tote must be transported on a tandem axle, bumper pull trailer with a 2 5/16" ball hitch—not a goose neck configuration. The tote must be in good condition, free of cracks, with rain proof covering, and include reliable auger, auger motor, chute, and drop-down tube equipment in proper working condition. The tote and trailer may remain on the wildlife area for up to one month due to weather and field conditions. No information regarding pricing terms, set asides, funding sources, or specific award dates is provided in the specification document. The solicitation will result in a Purchase Order that incorporates attached state and federal terms and conditions.
