Project: Recurring delivery of custom lactating mineral formula

GENERAL INFORMATION

1.0 Scope of Work:

The USDA-Dairy Forage Research Farm in Prairie du Sac, WI seeks a 7-month contract (approximately 70 tons over 7 months) for recurring deliveries of a custom lactating mineral formula.

2.0 Background: Not applicable

CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS

3.0 Technical Requirements/Tasks:

Custom lactating mineral formula delivery

Key Features:

• USDA Custom Lactating Formula 6.14.18 listed on last page.

• Mineral oil: added at 30lb per ton

• No supplemental iron to be added

• No supplemental dicalcium phosphate to be added

• Total volume requirement is 70 tons.

• Delivery via auger truck.

Delivery:

Delivery to US Dairy Forage Research Center farm at S8822 Sunset Drive, Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin 53578.

4.0 Government Furnished:

Government will provide access to farm and feed bins for delivery. Contact Scott Serwe (608-574-0711) with delivery questions.

5.0 Deliverables / Schedule:

First delivery needed by 5-17-23.

Deliver to bins 11 or 4 at Prairie du Sac farm.

Delivery needs to occur approximately every 30 days.
