About this file

This document is a detailed specification for a site utilities rehabilitation project at the Angell Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center in Yachats, Oregon. The project includes eight base items of work: wastewater irrigation field reconstruction, sewer line and manhole repairs, hydrant demolition, DWV pipe replacement, wastewater treatment plant repairs, lift station float and hanger replacement, building ventilation installation, and a solid waste interceptor installation.

The project requires comprehensive site work involving irrigation system upgrades, sewer infrastructure repairs, equipment replacements, and environmental controls. Key specifications include replacing 120 sprinkler heads, repairing sewer lines and manholes, removing existing hydrants, replacing wastewater treatment plant components, installing new lift station controls, and adding a solids interceptor. The work must be performed between 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Monday through Friday, with careful coordination to maintain continuous operation of the wastewater treatment plant and irrigation systems. The project involves complex technical requirements, including NPDES permitting, erosion control, and specific equipment specifications for tanks, sprinklers, floats, and ventilation systems.
