About this file

The provided document is a federal contract opportunity for the procurement of Tissue Homogenizer/Dissociator systems. The government requires the purchase of five (5) tissue homogenizers/dissociators, with four (4) units to be delivered to Ames, IA and Manhattan, KS, and one (1) additional unit to be delivered to Manhattan, KS. The solicitation specifies detailed technical requirements for the systems, including benchtop size, processing tube size range, fully automated tissue dissociation and homogenization capabilities, and compatibility with multiple tissue types. This is a firm fixed-price purchase order with a solicitation number of 12805B24Q0603 and an NAICS code of 334516. Interested vendors must submit quotes by 1:00 pm Eastern Time on August 21, 2024, and the award will be made to the responsible offeror whose quote conforms to the specifications and is the most advantageous to the government based on technical acceptance, past performance, and price.

Tissue Homogenizer/Dissociator Specifications

52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal (AUG 1999) A Miltenyi Biotec gentleMACS 130-096-427 paired with 130-093-235 Tissue Homogenizer/Dissociators will meet these requirements, but any system that meets these requirements will be considered. Please note that the new systems will be used alongside these existing systems. Exact units are preferred to ensure repeatable and consistent analysis. If quoting an equal system, specifications must demonstrate resulting analysis will be the equivalent and compatible with the existing Miltenyi Biotec equipment.

No used or refurbished equipment will be considered.
