SPECIFICATION SHEET

Pinsetter and Ball Track Upgrade 29 May 2024

1.0. GENERAL:

1.1. The 366th Force Support Squadron located on Mountain Home AFB, ID requires eight (8) pairs of String Machines and eight (8) under lane ball return tracks, as well as removal and disposal of the old equipment at the Bowling Center.

1.2. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation, and other items needed to setup and install the requested sixteen (16) String Machines and eight (8) under lane ball return systems and all associated hardware.

2.0. Minimum Specifications: The String Machines and under lane ball return tracks must (at a minimum) comply with the following salient characteristics:

2.1. Physical Characteristics

2.1.1. 16 String Machines (8 Pairs) and all associated hardware

2.1.2. Pins, kickbacks and spare parts kits associated with 16 String Machines

2.1.3. Eight (8) Sets of under lane ball tracks with all associated hardware

2.2. Compatability

2.2.1. United States Bowline Congress (USBC) certified to host tournaments and run leagues.

2.2.2. Compatible with existing Qubica AMF BES X Scoring system.

2.2.3. String machines must have the capabilities to notify of operational alerts and required maintenance notification and guidance.

2.3. Warranty

2.3.1. Minimum 3-year manufacture warranty on String Machines.

3.0. INSTALLATION:

3.1. The Contractor shall install all requested equipment in accordance with (IAW) manufacturer’s specifications.

3.2. The Contractor shall ensure proper operation of the installed String Machines and under lane ball return systems.

3.3. Any equipment not functioning properly IAW manufacturers specifications shall be diagnosed and repaired by the Contractor.

3.4. The Contractor shall ensure cleanliness of Government facility is maintained at all times.

3.5. The Government will inspect facility for cleanliness prior to Contractor’s departure.

3.6. Any damage done to Government property by the Contractor shall be repaired by the

Contractor at the Contractor’s expense.

4.0. Removal:

4.1. The Contractor will remove all predisclosed trade in items.

4.2. The Contractor is responsible for removal and disposal of the sixteen (16) existing 82-90XL pinsetters and replace with eight (8) pairs of String Machine Pinsetters

4.3. The Contractor is responsible for removal and disposal of the eight (8) existing under lane ball return systems and replace with eight (8) under lane ball return systems.

4.4. Cost of disposal, estimated freight and installation should be configured into the vendor’s quote for equipment replacement

5.0. Training: The Contractor shall conduct training of entire system to Government personnel.

5.1. Following completion of installation by purchaser, the Contractor shall provide technical support if there are any issues either by telephone or in person.

5.2. The Contractor will also provide a minimum 8-hour on-site training session for staff members on all associated items installed.

6.0 Specifics:

6.1. Shipping must be included in the quotation.

6.1.1. Contractor shall deliver to the Bowling Center – John Bitrick, 680 Falcon Street, Bldg 2805, Mountain Home AFB, ID, 83648

6.1.2. The Contractor shall be responsible for ensuring the safe arrival of both the trade in parts and the newly ordered equipment.
