SPECIFICATION WITH INCIDENTAL SERVICES
1.0 Specifications Description: Fluorescent & Light microscope components Quantity: 1 Unit Type: Package Minimum Requirements:
Cameras, fluorescent light system, and software package for existing Nikon Eclipse 80i Microscope (SN620103) that includes:
1. Monochrome camera with BSI CMOS sensor, minimum 6.5um x 6.5um pixel area, 0C air cooling at ambient temperature, minimum 95% quantum efficiency, with C-mount connection and USB cable, power supply and cord.
2. High-definition color microscope camera (DS-FI3) with minimum 5.9 megapixel CMOS image sensor, ability to capture images of at least 2880x2048 pixels, with C-mount connection and AC adaptor, power cord, and cables for proper mounting and powering.
3. Fluorescence LED Illumination System with quad-pass filter cube for 385mn, 475nm, 550nm, and 621nm excitation and detection, power adapter, power cord, and any required adaptors to connect to existing system. LED system must be alignment free and compatible with NIS-Elements software.
4. NIS-Elements Basic Research Imaging Software Suite for acquisition and analysis for 4D images; includes all drivers for camera and motorized microscope modules; acquisition in up to 4 dimensions. Only software compatible with existing microscope.
Incidental Services:
1. Installation of all components meeting the requirements above, downloading of software, and confirmation of function.
2. In-person training session for use of microscope after installation of all components.

5.0 Additional Requirements
1. Delivery – No badges or background check is required. Must stop at the guard gate to check in and receive instructions for delivery to the dock.
2. Assembly/Installation – Assembly of items 1-3 in section 2.0 to existing microscope and installation of item 4 to existing computer is required. Access to facility requires Real ID and check in at security for clearance. Foreign nationals require prior approval. A federal employee will be assigned to escort installer. Installation can be performed M-F between 9-4pm.
3. Warranty of two years on items in minimum requirements 1-3 is required.
4. In-person training on use of system, including software, is required. Session may be up to 4 hours in length and include up to four laboratory members.
