About this file

This document is a Specification Document for an Altitude Simulation System. The system must have interior dimensions of at least 15" x 15" x 15" and exterior dimensions no greater than 60" (W) x 30" (D) x 30" (H). It must have a pressure range of 1,000' to 8,000' and include a controller unit to monitor and maintain pressure within the chamber. The system must also have an electrical access port, blank vacuum ports, and a manual control valve.

The related federal contract opportunity is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for an Altitude Simulation System. The USDA has a requirement for this system, with the location being aboard the USDA in Madison, WI. This is a Total Small Business Set Aside, with a NAICS code of 334516 (Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing). Quotes are due by 5:00 PM Eastern Time on August 15, 2024, and the basis for award is Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA).
