About this file

This document is a formal bid specification from the City of Warwick, Rhode Island for the procurement of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Pipe through Bid2026-023. The bid solicits pricing for various diameter pipes (8", 10", 12", 18", 24", 36", and 48") in both perforated and plain configurations, with approximately 500 linear feet estimated for each diameter. Bids are due on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 11:00 AM, with public bid opening scheduled for the same time and date. The contract term is set for two years, from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2027, with potential for one additional extension upon mutual agreement.

Pricing will be evaluated on the lowest responsive bid, with vendors required to provide unit pricing for pipe sections and couplings for different diameters across two contract years. The bid includes a non-core items percentage discount and requires vendors to specify delivery time after receiving the order. The City of Warwick reserves multiple rights, including rejecting any or all bids, waiving minor informalities, terminating the contract with 30-day notice, and potentially consulting additional contract portals such as RI State MPA, NASPO, and MHEC for comparable offerings. The city is tax-exempt and expects vendors to comply with all applicable city, state, and federal laws.
