About this file
This document provides a specification for interior paint systems for walls and floors in tritium areas. The specification outlines requirements for primers and two-coat acrylic or alkyd finish systems for both concrete walls and floors. Acceptable product options are listed for each coating layer along with required dry film thicknesses and VOC limits. The specification also includes instructions for surface preparation, application, inspection, and a one-year warranty. An interior paint schedule names specific primer and finish coat products to be applied in waste handling, tritium cleanup, vault and gas holding tank rooms.
