About this file

This is a Special Events Permit Application Checklist for Pima County, Arizona that outlines the requirements for obtaining permits for special events affecting county roads and traffic. The checklist appears to be included as a supporting document for the Davis-Monthan AFB Air Show 2025 traffic control contract opportunity.

The checklist details six key requirements: 1) Submitting an online application through the Permitting Customer Portal, 2) Providing a Certificate of Insurance with minimum coverage of $2 million per occurrence and aggregate, naming Pima County and its districts as additional insureds, 3) Submitting a Traffic Control Plan prepared by a barricade company, 4) Scheduling point control with the Pima County Sheriff's Department Off-Duty Coordinator if required, 5) Submitting any required revisions to insurance or traffic control documentation, and 6) Paying the application fee, which can be done online, by check, or in person at the Development Services desk. All traffic control measures, including barricades, warning devices and law enforcement support, must be provided at the applicant's expense.
