This data package contains sample and QC results for one oil sample, requested for the above referenced project on 02/24/17. The sample was received on ice and intact.
Volatile Organics by GC/MS (EPA 8260B):
ROT 302/303/304 (lab # 286372-001) was diluted due to high hydrocarbons. No other analytical problems were encountered.
Semivolatile Organics by GC/MS (EPA 8270C):
ROT 302/303/304 (lab # 286372-001) was diluted due to high non-target analytes. No other analytical problems were encountered.
PCBs (EPA 8082):
All samples underwent sulfuric acid cleanup using EPA Method 3665A. All samples underwent sulfur cleanup using the copper option in EPA Method 3660B.
High response was observed for Aroclor-1260 in the CCV analyzed 03/04/17 00:38; affected data was qualified with "b". High response was observed for Aroclor-1260 in the CCV analyzed 03/04/17 07:53; affected data was qualified with "b". No other analytical problems were encountered.
Metals (EPA 6010B and EPA 7471A):
Copper and selenium were detected between the MDL and the RL in the method blank for batch 245295; these analytes were either not detected in the sample at or above the RL, or detected at a level at least 10 times that of the blank. No other analytical problems were encountered.
Flash Point (ASTM D93):
No analytical problems were encountered.
