NIIN list for publication.xlsx

The file is a NIIN (National Item Identification Number) list for C-5 aircraft structural components, specifically detailing 252 unique part numbers for various aircraft panels, floors, fairings, and structural components. The list includes National Stock Number (NSN) 1560, covering multiple part configurations such as aircraft floors (4F-series), structural panels (4J and 4W-series), wing panels, access covers, and other aerospace structural elements. Each entry contains a specific part number, nomenclature, and product category for aerospace manufacturing.

This NIIN list corresponds directly to a pre-solicitation for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aviation seeking small business suppliers for C-5 Galaxy aircraft structural honeycomb panels and floorboards. The upcoming solicitation (SPE4A425RX000) is anticipated to release a Request for Proposal in May 2025, with contract award projected for March 2026. The 5-year contract will include 5-year option periods, targeting small business set-aside manufacturers capable of producing specialized C-5 structural components with strict quality and production lead time requirements. Potential suppliers must be pre-approved on the ESA's Qualified Sources List and demonstrate advanced manufacturing capabilities for these critical aerospace structural components.
