About this file
Amendment 0001 to Solicitation SP8000-25-R-0007 modifies Section 7.2 of the Statement of Work related to Certificate of Analysis (COA) submission requirements for NdFeB Magnet Block procurement. The amendment updates the language regarding the contractor's process for sending COAs to the Quality Assurance Specialist (QAS), specifying that the Government will review each COA for each lot and notify the contractor of acceptability/unacceptability within 14 calendar days. The amendment does not change the solicitation's closing date of August 11, 2025, and must be signed and returned with the vendor's proposal.
The underlying solicitation is for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) for NdFeB Magnet Blocks in four grades (N38EH, N45SH, N48SH, and N52), with Noveon Magnetics as the sole source. The contract has a five-year ordering period, a minimum guaranteed value of $9.5 million, and a maximum potential value of $200 million. The procurement is for domestic magnet block grades, with delivery orders having a 24-month delivery period and fixed pricing negotiated at the time of each order issuance.
