About this file
This document contains answers from the government to questions regarding a solicitation for a multifunctional device lease contract. The Defense Logistics Agency seeks to enter into a firm fixed price, up to 60-month lease for 2,295 multifunctional devices, accessories, and office document devices to be located in South Korea. The base award quantity is 1,907 devices with an option to increase by 20% to the total quantity of 2,295. The contract start date is May 1, 2022 and all devices must be installed prior to this date. The government provides responses to clarify that delivery can include devices distributed across installations, there is no minimum for helpdesk staffing, and relocation charges would be assessed per move based on mileage. Relocated and used devices are not allowable, and the incumbent contractor is not responsible for removed toner cartridges.

| Attachment 1 | Delivery and Installation | 3 | IV-A-1 | Is delivery and installation by unit or installation? For examples, 'Up to 100 in 30 days after receipt of contact' meant by 100 devices needs to be delivered to same unit with various installation or to same installation with different units. | The up to 100 devices for delivery could potentially range from across any number of installations and/or units. |

Also if possible, can you provide call status on previous contact with info as below?
1. Number of call received monthly specified by issue and location
| 2. What is the rate of FCR (First Call Resolution) | We are not aware of the details of how many employees, calls received, or the FCR of the previous vendor. The vendor was capable of handling all service related issues. There is no minimum number of helpdesk employees so as long as they can handle the service calls that would be generated by the equipment provided. | |||||
| Attachment 1 | Device Relocation | 6 | VII-A-1 | If just few devices are relocated from BLDG a to b (40miles away) for temporary and needs to be returned to original location after few days which have total 80 miles for each device. In this case, will there be any additional funding? If yes, will additional funding be rated by additional miles and what is the cost rate per mile? | Each move is a single relocation instance. If a customer wants to move a single device twice, they would need to submit two relocation forms to DLA, one for each instance. It would then count as two of the contract's relocations. | |
| Attachment 1 | Specifications | 3 | III.A | Quantity shown on the chart (III-A on attachment 1) are total quantity of 1,907 but it supposed to be total 2,295 (first sentence on Attachment 1). | Attachment 7 | We all know a lot of units have been relocated from Camp Red Cloud and Yongsan to CP Humphreys but too many MFD are assigned to both locations. |
Is this latest version or is there any way you can provide me the latest version?

| Management | 11 | XV.A.3 | When we award this contract, we are going to lease out new MFDs for DLA. Some other companies in the industry are planning to supply used goods. | By looking at Attachment+7+-+Delivery+Schedule2, I only see CLIN 001 that have about 696 devices listed which reflect about 754 Base Quantity on page 3 of Attachment 2. |
However there should be from CLIN 002 to CLIN 013 of attachment 2 listed on Attachment+7+-+Delivery+Schedule2 which I can't find.
Is there any way you can send me 'Attachment+7+-+Delivery+Schedule2' with all CLIN # assigned? Attachment 7 - Delivery Schedule Column A is for internal Governmental use only so vendors need to ignore Column A. Attachment 7 - Delivery Schedule Column B coincides with Attachment 2 - CLIN Structure Column A. Both Attachment 7 and Attachment 2 were built specifically in this manner so the vendors have the ability to determine what specific devices listed on the Delivery Schedule match the CLIN Structure document.
The Government has noticed that Attachment 7 - Delivery Schedule is only a three (3) digit number and has updated it to a four (4) digit number.
| Is Contract Start Date (Go-Live) - Solicitation <SP7000-22-R-1005>, 2023.05.01 right? | In accordance with SP7000-22-R-1005's Item 3 - Estimated Period of Performance the contract start date is 05/01/2022. | ||
| Do delivery and installation of the multi-functional device must be completed before the Contract Start Date (Go-Live) ? | |||
| Or can we proceed with delivery and installation after the Contract Start Date (Go-Live)? | All devices must be installed prior to the start date provided on the any subsequent contract award. |
