SP7000-21-Q-1039 A0004
The purpose of Amendment 0004 to RFQ SP7000-21-Q-1039 is to provide responses to Industry questions and add a clause as follows:
1. QUESTION:
Is it possible for you to change the Pricing file and add a line for the price of mono and color pages after exceeding the number of pages in the document? If not, please advise how to include in pricing this scope of services.
RESPONSE:
No, this acquisition is for a flat monthly rate. It does not support cost-per-copy. Proposed prices should be fixed price per device per month.
2. QUESTION:
Can you please advise where the DLA Information Operations EMS Division is? In which location will it take place?
RESPONSE:
The testing site is in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania.
3. QUESTION:
Will every device be tested or 1 of each model?
RESPONSE:
One of each model will be tested.
4. QUESTION:
Regarding the record “For devices ordered to be installed on Navy networks in Guam, the Contractor shall provide networked equipment…” - please advise if this is correct, is Guam one of the end locations?
RESPONSE:
Guam is not one of the locations for this acquisition.
5. QUESTION:
Regarding relocation, is it possible to add a line to the pricing file for one relocation costs? If not, please advise how to include in pricing this scope of services.
RESPONSE:
No, DLA will not add a separate Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) for device relocations.
As part of its quoted pricing the vendor will provide for device relocations up to 50 miles as set forth in the RFQ.
SP7000-21-Q-1039 A0004
6. QUESTION:
As mentioned in XIII. NETWORK SECURITY paragraph F, the devices are to be supplied with card readers. Are cards also required? If so, what quantity? If not, are they to be replaced by tokens?
RESPONSE:
Common Access Cards (CAC) are not provided by the contractor. CAC and SIPR tokens are separate and distinct items. As such, CAC will not replace SIPR tokens. Likewise, SIPR tokens will not replace CAC.
7. QUESTION:
Regarding the documentation record page 9, Att.1 “The Contractor shall ensure that CAC/SIPR token authentication…” Is it about US tokens? We are not able to provide such a solution based on US regulations. Clarification: Our subcontractor, a long-standing partner in the printer market, is not sure if the tokens you require are universal and available on the european markets or only available on US markets.
RESPONSE:
The Defense Human Resources Activity issues Common Access Cards (CACs). The vendor does not supply tokens. The proposed devices must be able to operate with the CACs and be in compliance with Homeland Security Presidential Directive‐12 (HSOP‐12).
8. DFARS clause 252.246-7008 Sources of Electronic Parts (MAY 2018) is hereby added and incorporated by reference.
