VIDEO EDITING RFQ QUESTIONS
1. I've read the scope of work, but what type of content will need to be edited?
The content to be edited will be video footage recorded by the DCAA communications team, typically MP4 format.
2. Are you just looking for a program for the organization to utilize for Video Editing? Are they Using Mac or PC Products?
We are using PC products. While we need a simple to use program, we also are looking for integration of a library of B-roll (background video footage to use to highlight what a speaker is saying) as well as music. While there are lots of websites with this, most require payment to use the footage.
3. When you mention Color Library, can you explain what you mean by this?
The color library pulls in the DCAA “branding” colors and creates template of sorts of background for titles and frames.
4. I have access to ready-made templates, music, font libraries, photo and video libraries. How would you like to utilize these things for your video edits? Do you have references?
We would use these as we create our videos to augment footage taken by the communication team. As we haven’t had this resource in the past, we used a recruitment contract vehicle to create videos with the requested features.
5. Which Social Media Platforms would you like to use?
6. What system was being used before?
Adobe Premier and Premier Rush with no additional features such as the adobe library.
