Combined Synopsis/Solicitation
Ansul and Kidde Navy Halon 1301 System Cylinders Refurbishment/Recertification
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is SP4703-16-R-9801and attached to this notice.
This requirement is to provide transportation, refurbishment and recertification services for various size Ansul Halon 1301 Navy System Cylinders and Kidde Halon 1301 Navy System Cylinders as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
This acquisition is unrestricted procurement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561990 All Other Support Services. The small business size standard is $11 million. This is a firm fixed-price (FFP) Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract for 12 months from the date of contract award. The period of performance will be a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24. Pricing for all Line Items must be submitted with the offer. Partial proposals will not be accepted.
Award will be made on the basis of tradeoff source selection process as stated in the solicitation.
The contractor must be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) prior to award. If not already registered in CCR and ORCA, go to System for Award Management (SAM) website www.sam.gov to register prior to submitting your quote.
All inquiries must be submitted 5 working days prior to closing date.
Proposals are due on May 6, 2016, 2:00 PM, EST.
