Troop Support Safety & Occupational Health Equipment Calibration.

1.0 Background. The Safety and Occupational Health (SOH) office has a federally mandated requirement to annually calibrate equipment that is utilized for conducting workplace surveys and assessments.

2.0 Objective.

2.1 Provide annual and as-needed equipment calibration services for DLA Troop Support’s SOH survey equipment.

3.0 Requirements.

3.1 Equipment calibration services must be performed to National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) traceable specification and performed to appropriate American National Standards Institute (ANSI)/International Organization for Standardization (ISO)/International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) specifications

3.2 The table below describes common industrial hygiene equipment calibration and estimated shipping costs performed in the past three years. The table is limited to show current DLA owned equipment.

New equipment may be purchased or discarded as operational needs change and end-of-life disposal is needed. Calibration services are not limited to items identified below. Additional calibration services to be provided as needed.

3.3 Task One: Compliance. The service contractor will ensure that all equipment is returned within 14 calendar days of receipt and calibrated IAW National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) traceable specification and performed to appropriate American National Standards Institute (ANSI)/International Organization for Standardization (ISO)/International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) specifications.

3.4 Task Two: Communication: Equipment Calibration Certification. The contractor will provide hardcopy equipment calibration NIST certifications enclosed with each piece of equipment and will contact the DLA contract Point of Contact (POC) to discuss options for failing equipment or equipment that will no longer be serviced, prior to making any repairs or replacements.

4.0 Period of Performance (PoP): Performance will be on an as-needed basis. Duration of contract shall be for one (1) Base Year of 12 months and two (2) 12-month option years. The Period of Contract reads as follows:

Base Year: September 30, 2024 – September 29, 2025 Option Year I: September 30, 2025 – September 29, 2026 Option Year II: September 30, 2026 – September 29, 2027
