SQT – System Qualification Test is the test environment for the customer to verify patches and updates prior to deployment to production. This environment is tightly controlled with coordination between the administrators, CM and the customer.
Dev – Development environment is controlled by the development team to build fixes and implement customizations.
DT – Development Test is the first test environment for promotion of changes to SQT.
FLA – Field Look Alike is an environment used to test data issues that affect a single Component. A copy of the Component system with the issue is installed in this environment for trouble shooting and validation of data dependent issues.
Pristine – An environment installed from the “out of the box” copy of Oracle e-Business Suite. There are no customizations in this environment. Oracle critical patch updates and hot fixes are tested through this environment to verify before customizations are evaluated.
STLOAD – Stress test environment for Load Runner stress testing performance of Oracle products/patches. Both customized and pristine versions can be tested in this environment to iron out performance issues and the root cause of those issues. Typically, log files from this environment help Oracle Support identify the issue and potential patches that may correct the performance issue.
