Text version

1. Will these bollards need to be filled with concrete after installed? If so are there specs on the type of concrete? Answer – No

2. Do these need to be painted? If so, what color? Answer – Yellow

3. Is there a detailed drawing for the installation kit and a rating for the anchor bolt? Answer – Reference Uline item H-2121 or equal. I have no detailed drawing for the installation kit.

4. Is there a grade for the bollard pipe being requested? Schedule 40? Schedule 80? Answer – Reference Uline item H-4971F or equal. There is no specific grade. The bollards serve to minimize damage to the legs of pallet racks.

5. Does the bollard have to be galvanized coated? Answer – No

6. Is there a required crush rating for the bollards? Answer – No

7. What level of excavation will be required? Are there Bollards already in place that will need removed?

Answer - Leveling is required but to be specific no excavation needed. They simply are to be flush and level to the concrete warehouse floor. The leveling and installation kit would suffice, but a hammer drill must be used to support anchoring the stud/screw to fasten the nut.

8. Please provide drawings of bollard installation locations. Answer – Drawings will be emailed directly to contractors who request them.
