The college is seeking qualified bidders to provide professional unarmed patrol personnel for campus safety and monitoring services covering Marion County and the City of Salem, Oregon. Electronic bid submissions are required by December 20, 2023, at 2:00 pm local time, with bid protests permitted until December 12, 2023, at 10:00 am local time. Bidders must obtain official ITB documents from the college's procurement website at https://go.chemeketa.edu/procurement, which will contain detailed specifications, submittal requirements, and performance expectations. The college reserves the right to reject any or all bids and may waive minor informalities in the bidding process. Bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of all addenda and indicate their status as a "resident bidder" in accordance with Oregon law.

The file contains no information regarding pricing terms, budget range, or anticipated contract value. No specific set-asides for disadvantaged enterprises are identified in the solicitation. There is no reference to incumbent vendors or existing security infrastructure. Formal prequalification of bidders is not required, indicating an open competition. The procurement appears to be structured for potential multi-year engagement, though the exact contract duration was not specified in the public notice. Mariah Dooley, Procurement & Contracts Analyst at Chemeketa Community College, serves as the ITB Coordinator for this procurement. Any affected person may protest the special procurement approval by submitting a written protest to the State Chief Procurement Officer within seven calendar days of the public notice's first publication date.
