STATEMENT OF WORK
for the ARSR-4 Weather Station Replacement Modification Kit #2
April 22, 2024
Federal Aviation Administration Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center 6500 S. MacArthur Blvd.
Oklahoma City, OK 73169 introduction Background This statement of work (SOW) is for the procurement and fabrication of a new Weather Station modification kit for use in the FAA’s ARSR-4 Long Range Radar. The current weather station the ARSR-4 uses for height calculation is now obsolete. AJW-142 is looking to procure Weather Station modification kit to house the Weather Station Processing board and interact with the new weather stations that will be installed at all ARSR-4 facilities. This Weather Station modification kit will be installed at all ARSR-4 facilities to meet the minimum requirements of the ARSR-4 height algorithm. This kit has the necessary equipment and hardware needed to complete and install the weather station modification.
The kits for this contract will be delivered to the following address: Comment by Stewart, Gregory (FAA): Highly recommend kits not be delivered to our building, unless we must get into each kit and do something in it. Otherwise, get an NSN assigned and have a "due-in" established with Logistics for them to receive these kits and manage them. Comment by Gerba, Joseph (FAA): We are working on getting the NSN assigned. Comment by Gerba, Joseph (FAA): Will update when we finalize NSN
