About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details a vent cleaning service for JBSA Randolph AFB, specifically covering external HVAC ceiling supply and return vents, indoor roofing surfaces, and metal extension beams located at or above 10 feet in height. The contractor is required to provide all labor, tools, equipment, and materials to remove dust, debris, and potential biological contaminants using HEPA-filter vacuums, microfiber cloths, and non-toxic cleaning agents, ensuring no residue or streaks are left behind.
The cleaning service must be performed during non-peak occupancy hours, with strict scheduling from 9:00 PM to early morning hours each day of the week. Safety protocols include wearing protective equipment, using non-corrosive and non-toxic cleaning agents compliant with Air Force environmental standards, and maintaining accountability of tools and equipment. A mandatory post-award conference will be held to discuss zoning, equipment positioning, and other relevant topics. The work will be inspected by the Facility Manager, with any vents not meeting appearance standards requiring re-cleaning at no additional cost.
