About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the repair of a Niagara Metal press brake at the 628th Weapons Station Structures Shop located at Joint Base Charleston Naval Weapons Station in South Carolina.
The SOW requires a contractor to provide all labor, transportation, supplies, equipment, and other services necessary to remove, inspect, repair, and reinstall the malfunctioning press brake. The machine requires repairs to address a hydraulic fluid leak, which has rendered the equipment inoperable. The contractor must provide justification for all repairs needed to restore the press brake to manufacturer standards. The SOW specifies a 4-week period of performance for the repair work, which must be performed during normal duty hours. The contract is a firm-fixed-price, one-time service contract with no option years. Any additional repairs beyond the initial scope will require a contract modification and written authorization from the Contracting Officer. The related federal contract opportunity, Solicitation Number F1M3E34114AQ03, seeks a contractor to carry out the requirements outlined in the SOW.
