4. DESCRIPTION OF FACILITY:

Coast Guard AIRSTA Detroit will be responsible for obtaining the hot work chit from the Selfridge ANGB Fire Department located here within the installation.

2. Cage Reconfiguration

· Please see attachment with floor plan drawings at the bottom of this document for reference.

· Current cage in the AV Maint. Shipping and Receiving space runs the length of the space. About halfway down the run, the cage will need to turn 90 degrees towards the AV Supply Logistics Staff Office. Wall should come in perpendicular to the office wall, with about 3 feet of space between the new cage wall and the office door.

· The rest of the cage from the intersection of the new cage wall to the double doors on the north side of the shipping and receiving area, plus the sliding door shall be completely removed.

· In the middle of the new cage wall, a new cage door (swinging) should be installed so that it hinges on the right side (looking north) and swings into the new secured space area. On that door should be a Simplex 1000-style lock that has multiple buttons, requiring a combination style entry.

3. Drywall repairs

· Please see attachment with floor plan drawings at the bottom of this document for reference.

· The small utility closet in the northeast corner of the AMO supply cage needs drywall to be finished. The drywall is installed, but it needs cornerbead and mud on the interior and exterior of the closet.

4. Floor renewal

· Please see attachment with floor plan drawings at the bottom of this document for reference.

· The current floor in the AMO Supply cage area has previously been epoxied and needs to be refreshed and renewed. Floor should be cleaned, and a new topcoat should be put down on the floor. Top coat can be clear and transparent like the current coating.
