LIQUID NITROGEN REFILL
STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)
1.0 BACKGROUND
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) requires frequent refills of a 1500-liter liquid nitrogen tank built into their system. has been tasked by its sponsors to design and develop quick turnaround prototype and limited production items for use in systems deployed around the world. These items require environmental testing to determine their reaction to the elements. Liquid Nitrogen (LN2) is needed to run the for testing.
2.0 APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS
2.1 Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) Specifications
3.0 REQUIREMENTS
3.1 The Contractor shall deliver 1,500 liters of liquid nitrogen up to 12 times annually for a base period of 12-months with two (2) 12-month option periods to follow.
3.1.1 The Contractor shall provide the option for an additional 3 deliveries of 1,500 liters of liquid nitrogen within each executed contract period of performance to accommodate surge production.
3.1.2 The Contractor shall breakout LN2 per liter, cost for delivery, cost for telemetry and cost for hazmat charges per delivery.
3.2 The Contractor shall deliver the liquid nitrogen to Building 181, NSWCDD, located in Dahlgren, Virginia, between 0700 and 1430, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Government holidays.
NOTE: Deliveries will not be accepted outside of the above time-period.
3.3 The Contractor shall coordinate with the technical point of contact identified below for delivery.
*The Contractor shall not perform any delivery services outside of each delivery funded in the Purchase Order. If any additional optional deliveries are required during the active period of performance, the Contractor shall ensure a fully executed modification of the Purchase Order is in place prior to completing the delivery.
**The Government reserves the right to modify this contract at a later date to cover the additional optional delivery services identified during each current period of performance.
4.0 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE
4.1 The period of performance for this contract is a base period of 12-months after receipt of the order with two (2) option periods of 12-month each to follow.
5.0 SECURITY
The work to be performed under this contract is unclassified.
6.0 TRAVEL
The Contractor will be required to travel in performance of this contract. The number of trips and types of personnel traveling shall be limited to the minimum required to accomplish work requirements and shall be coordinated with the technical point of contact. All travel shall be conducted in accordance with the Federal Travel Regulations (FTR). The following travel is anticipated: Once service technician for up to 15 deliveries annually to Dahlgren, Virginia.
