INSTALLATION OF GLASS WALLS

STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)

1.0 BACKGROUND

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), requires a service agreement for the procurement and installation of glass walls for the

“Scrum Room”, located in Building .

2.0 APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS

2.1 Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Regulations;

2.2 Government Drawings (attached);

2.3 Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Specifications;

2.4 Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Regulations;

2.5 American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Business + Institutional Furniture

Manufacturers Association (BIFMA) Regulations; and

2.6 Center for Disease Control (CDC) Guidelines

3.0 REQUIREMENTS

3.1 The contractor shall provide the following materials in order to replace existing fabric partition walls with a glass wall enclosure to form a Scrum Room:

3.2 The contractor shall perform a pre-site visit to take exact measurements.

3.3 The contractor shall deliver materials, assemble and install the Scrum Room.

3.4 The contractor shall conduct a final walk through at the conclusion of the work.

3.5 The Contractor personnel shall wear personal protective equipment in accordance with

OSHA and ANSI BIFMA regulations and CDC guidelines throughout the project.

3.6 The Contractor shall protect Government property from damage or disfigurement.

3.7 The Contractor shall keep all supplies, equipment, and tools out of traffic lanes or other areas where they might create a hazard.

3.8 At the end of each work period, the Contractor shall secure all supplies, equipment and tools, and clean up the work areas.

3.9 The contractor shall perform all work at the NSWCDD located in Dahlgren, Virginia during normal working hours, Monday through Friday, 0700-1600.

3.10 The contractor shall dispose of old existing materials IAW EPA regulations.

3.11 The contractor shall coordinate all work with the technical point of contact identified below.

4.0 GOVERNMENT-FURNISHED PROPERTY/MATERIAL/INFORMATION

(GFP/GFM/GFI)

4.1 The Government will provide access to Building for work completion.

5.0 SECURITY

All work that is to be performed under this contract is unclassified. Contractor personnel are required to be escorted at all times while performing this work.

6.0 TRAVEL

The Contractor will be required to travel in performance of this contract. The number of trips and types of personnel traveling shall be limited to the minimum required to accomplish work requirements and must be coordinated with the technical point of contact. All travel shall be conducted in accordance with the Federal Travel Regulations (FTR).
