About this file
This Statement of Work outlines requirements for replacing bathroom and galley sewer pipes at USCG Station Provincetown's Multi-mission Building (MMB) located at 125 Commercial St, Provincetown, MA. The contractor must remove and replace failed cast iron sewer pipes in both the bathroom and galley areas with heavy-duty PVC pipes, repair associated water damage to studs/drywall, replace concrete and tile flooring in the galley area, and reconnect the galley garbage disposal. The existing damage has left two duty rooms without bathroom facilities and rendered the galley disposal inoperable.
The work must be completed within 30 calendar days of contract issuance, with normal working hours from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. The contractor must provide their own sanitation facilities and supervision, with a designated on-site foreman required whenever work is being performed. The contract includes a one-year warranty period from final acceptance. Key points of contact are MKC Paul Lehman (QAI) and CWO Steve Mensen (Facilities Engineer). Site visits are strongly encouraged for bidders to assess conditions before submitting proposals.
