Statement of Work Police Security Booth Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System New Orleans, LA 6/3/2026
1. BACKGROUND
1.1. A Police Security Booth is needed for a multitude of emergency response situations. This semi-mobile guard booth is intended to provide a secure location for Police Services staff to provide facility protection 24/7. This Police Security Booth meets the Office of Construction and Facilities Management Physical Security and Resiliency Design Manual for the ballistic protection of staff. Current safety measures are limited by the resources available and do not allow for around the clock, manned monitoring of campus property while providing a safe, ballistically secure location for staff. External camera system only provides observation of property, whereas the booth will provide physical presence and deterrence. The manned booth will provide computer connection services, shore power connectivity and generator power, and deployability to CBOCs as needed.
