About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for Security and Fire Alarm Systems Support for the Department of Energy (DOE) Consolidated Service Center-Oak Ridge (CSC-OR). The SOW requires a contractor to provide comprehensive support for security and fire alarm systems across multiple DOE facilities in the Oak Ridge valley, including installation, maintenance, testing, and management of security alarms, access control, CCTV, and fire alarm systems. Key requirements include rapid system repair (8-24 hours), developing preventive maintenance and lifecycle budget programs, maintaining system efficiency, and obtaining specific certifications such as Hirsch Factory Certification, Honeywell Vindicator Factory Certification, and Siemens Cerberus Pro Certification.

The associated Request for Information (RFI) seeks qualified sources to support these systems, with a response deadline of July 30, 2025. Respondents are asked to submit a 10-page Capabilities Statement detailing company information, small business status, relevant experience, staff certifications, and technical approach. The DOE is particularly interested in firms with experience supporting federal security/fire systems, ability to respond quickly to service calls, and current small business certifications (8(a), SDVOSB, HUBZone, or Woman-Owned). The RFI emphasizes that this is a market research document and does not guarantee future solicitation, with responses to be submitted electronically to Nicholas.brown@science.doe.gov.
