About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for an oily waste offload service for the USCGC HEALY, a United States Coast Guard Cutter. The SOW requires a vendor to remove approximately 9,000 gallons of waste oil and oily water from the vessel's storage tanks, which were impacted by a fire main rupture. The work will be performed at the Municipal Pier in Dutch Harbor, Alaska, with a performance period from July 11-13, 2025, beginning on the first day of the cutter's arrival.
The project involves the vendor disposing of all removed fluids in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Cutter engineers will use their installed system to pump off the waste through shore tie connections near the fueling station, with an approximate 100-foot connection from the cutter to the loading truck. Key personnel contacts include Ryun Konze (primary POC) and LT Christopher Maytum (secondary POC) from the USCGC Healy. The solicitation number is 70Z085Q20394, and the opportunity is under the Department of Homeland Security US Coast Guard.
