About this file

This Statement of Work outlines requirements for a DoD Standard Geosoft Package Oasis Montaj software subscription for Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD). The software will be installed on a single non-NMCI computer for use at Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) Quality Assurance sites.

The software serves as a post-processing tool that incorporates geophysical data from multiple sources including Geonics EM61 & EM31 electromagnetic induction devices, Geometrics 858 magnetometer data, Geometrics Metal Mapper, and TemTads data. It features automated target picking algorithms combined with manual data reduction to provide information about underground anomalies and their locations. The period of performance is 455 days (15-month renewal) starting from the date of purchase. The software is critical for monitoring contractor cleanup efforts, determining compliance with work plans and data quality objectives, and performing third-party Quality Assurance. Without this renewal, users cannot access the software, resulting in a work stoppage for processing and third-party functions.

Statement of Work For

DoD 0001 - Oasis Montaj™ Software Bundle - Subscription

1. Purpose:

DoD Standard Geosoft Package Oasis Montaj (2 years from time of payment so dependent on the date it’s paid the POP start and End dates will be based on that) (2 years). This software, will be installed on a single non-NMCI computer, used on the Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) Quality Assurance (QA) sites. The software is a post-processing tool that incorporates geophysical data from a variety of sources (Geonics EM61 & EM31 electromagnetic induction devices, Geometrics 858 magnetometer data, Geometrics Metal Mapper, and TemTads data). The software also uses an automated target picking algorithm that, combined with manual data reduction, provides the user with exceptionally useful information about underground anomalies and their locations. Since contractors use the same geophysical equipment, the government can monitor the effectiveness of their clean-up efforts and determine if the job was done in accordance with work plans and data quality objectives. All software is used on data analysis project computers, while onsite, providing the EOD technicians with locations of potential UXO. Data collected by NSWC IHD and contractors are analyzed and matched to determine quality of data - both in how the data was collected and how the data was analyzed. Automated target picking algorithms are used within this software to pick and remediate buried anomalies. Without this software we are unable to perform our job.

2. Requirements:

The requirement for the Oasis Montaj software renewal is for the use of the post-processing tool that incorporates geophysical data from a variety of sources (Geonics EM61 & EM31 electromagnetic induction devices, Geometrics 858 magnetometer data, Geometrics Metal Mapper, and TemTads data).

The software also uses an automated target picking algorithm that, combined with manual data reduction, provides the user with exceptionally useful information about underground anomalies and their locations.

Without this software we cannot use the tool to process data or perform third-party Quality Assurance on projects we are working on.

Without the software renewal we are unable to even open the software until the purchase has been made, which is a stop work situation as far as processing and third-party functions go.

3. Period of Performance: 455 (15-month renewal starting on date of purchase)
