About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details maintenance and support services for Teradyne Microflex SoC semiconductor test systems located at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division in Indiana. The contract covers preventative maintenance, repairs, calibration, and technical support for two specific test systems (with serial numbers S/N 1031M005 and S/N 1126M001), including associated hardware like manipulators, testheads, instrumentation, and HP workstations. The period of performance is from 12/4/2025 through 11/30/2027, with quarterly invoicing for actual engineer support time.
Key requirements include on-site preventive maintenance every three months, NIST calibration, software maintenance, emergency repair support within 3 working days, and immediate telephone assistance during system breakdowns. The contractor must provide U.S. citizen engineers who are factory-trained and experienced, with the first two emergency service visits covered in travel expenses. The contract is a sole-source procurement with Teradyne Inc., justified by their proprietary rights, technical expertise, and specialized parts inventory. The solicitation (N0016426Q0023) was issued by the Department of the Navy Naval Sea Systems Command, with a closing date of 12/11/2025 at 4:00 PM Eastern Time.
