About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details a service visit for the CGC Stratton's Main Diesel Engines (MDE) during a planned performance period from 10 November 2025 through 31 November 2025. The objective is to monitor Coast Guard staff and validate corrective maintenance on both main diesel engines, ensuring compliance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and safety standards. The service requires documenting maintenance completion and deficiencies, and reporting issues to the Government Technical Point of Contact (TPOC).
The maintenance is necessitated by the MDE showing reduced performance and reliability after exceeding major overhaul intervals, with specific issues including low compression in NR2 MDE, exhaust temperatures outside allowable parameters, fuel leaks, pump failures, and sensor and control issues. The United States Coast Guard (USCG) will provide Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), and the service will be performed at 1 Eagle Rd, bldg. 42, Alameda, CA, 94501. Technicians must submit driver's license details to LTJG Igor Guerrero for base access, and the work will continue until all repairs achieve 100% operational completion, not to exceed the quoted cost.
