About this file

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a one-day legal and policy compliance training course titled "Managing within the Law" to be delivered to Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab) starting in January 2026. The course is designed for 25 managers per class session and covers critical employment law topics including EEO laws, fair employment practices, harassment prevention, performance management, FMLA, ADA, and FLSA compliance. The training emphasizes best practices in interviewing, performance documentation, bystander intervention, and responding to employee complaints, with instruction delivered either in-person at the Fermilab Training Center or via Zoom/MS Teams over 7.5 hours.

The contract requires delivery of the course three times annually across a base year (January 2026–27) and two option years (January 2027–28 and January 2028–29), with pricing set at $5,000 per class plus $1,000 for travel expenses to/from Fermilab as needed. The related federal solicitation (No. 379234) requests a quotation for similar training services with a modified schedule beginning in June 2026 instead of January 2026, maintaining the same two-year option period structure. The contracting agency is the Department of Energy Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory.
