About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) from the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), a component of the NIH, for the procurement of a digital microscope system with advanced imaging and measurement capabilities to support the NIH Intramural Research Program.
The Government requires delivery of a complete digital microscope system capable of high-resolution imaging, automated measurement, and advanced analytical capabilities for biomedical and materials research. The system must meet or exceed specifications including 4K imaging capability, magnification range of approximately 5x–6000x without manual lens changes, integrated stage camera with automated focusing, motorized XY stage (~300mm x 300mm), multiple lighting modes, built-in 2D/3D measurement capability, HDR imaging with real-time autofocus, automated workflow replication, compatibility with analytical tools, ≥1TB storage, remote analysis capability, and compatibility with existing laboratory optical components and accessories. The contractor is responsible for delivering the complete system, installing and configuring equipment, providing calibration and validation, and furnishing training and support. Delivery must occur within 60 days after award at Marcial Garmendia, 12 South Dr., Bldg.12A, room 2017, Bethesda, MD 20892. Equipment must meet all specifications and pass functional testing for acceptance. Invoices shall be submitted to the Department of Treasury's Invoice Processing Platform at https://www.ipp.gov and NHLBIContractsBranchB@mail.nih.gov. No Government Furnished Property or Government Furnished Information is provided. The primary point of contact is Marcial Garmendia at 301-402-7170 or marcial.garmendia@nih.gov, and the contractor must comply with all NIH security requirements.
