About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details the urgent replacement of a turbocharger for the CGC Healy, a U.S. Coast Guard vessel. The background indicates that during post-overhaul operational checks, the Auxiliary Diesel Generator (ADG) turbo/blower unit exhibited excessive vibrations at 42.62 g's (peak-to-peak) and 0.8185 in/sec, which exceeds acceptable limits and requires immediate replacement to prevent further system damage. The specific requirement is for one turbocharger (Part Number 9528223) to be delivered to 1519 Alaskan Way S, Seattle, WA 98134, with plans to install the part at Base Seattle during the HEALY's next availability. Point of contact for questions is LTJG Igor Guerrero at (510) 605-0519 or igor.guerrero@uscg.mil.
