About this file

This is a Statement of Work for a geotechnical survey at Camp Robinson's AALZ (Assault Airfield Landing Zone) semi-prepared landing zone, dated February 2, 2026.

The contractor must perform a geotechnical survey consisting of a minimum of 26 soil bore samples, each 20 feet deep, at the landing zone location in Camp Robinson, Arkansas. The work requires obtaining site-specific data to inform design and construction of airfield pavements suitable for C-130 aircraft operations. Core deliverables include soil samples and analysis due within 30 days after contract award, and a comprehensive technical report due within 60 days after award. The report must present boring logs with field and laboratory data, including water content measurements, groundwater levels, Atterberg limits and granular size analysis, subsurface stratification, site conditions description, and earthwork considerations such as site preparation, fill material specifications, and compaction requirements. The contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and incidentals necessary to complete the work.

Contractor obligations include obtaining digging permits at each boring location, coordinating with utility companies, calling Arkansas 811 at least 48 hours before ground disturbance, locating and protecting existing utilities, and repairing any damage at no cost to the government. Work hours are restricted to 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with no work on federal holidays or government-designated base down days. The contractor must comply with OSHA regulations, Air Force and Camp Robinson safety instructions, base security policies, and environmental requirements including hazardous materials management and certified off-base disposal of all debris. Personnel require base vetting and temporary passes. The 60-day performance period begins from the contract award date, with final inspection and acceptance conducted by the Little Rock AFB Chief of Asset Optimization.
