About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a research assistant position funded by the U.S. Department of Energy at Brookhaven National Laboratory for fiscal years 2025-2026. The SOW requires a graduate student to work remotely on x-ray photon correlation spectroscopy (XPCS) research, specifically focusing on developing an iterative phase retrieval algorithm for analyzing experimental data collected at NSLS-II. The student will also engage in entanglement witness theory research in the context of XPCS measurements, providing theoretical data analysis support.

Key requirements include the student having previous experience in theoretical understanding and calculation of entanglement witness for x-ray scattering techniques. The position is structured as a remote research assistant role at the student's home institution, collaborating with Brookhaven National Laboratory. The research is part of a Department of Energy-funded project aimed at advancing scientific understanding of XPCS methodologies and theoretical frameworks.
