STATEMENT OF WORK FOR AMPP QP-1 CERTIFICATION 2124404Y6164A59001
Background:
1. The Coast Guard Yard has a requirement to obtain and sustain AMPP QP-1 Certification. This is a quality assurance program that ensures we meet our customers quality standards. QP-1 certification will be needed for any vessels that are blasted and painted here at the CG Yard. This includes any contractors who also perform similar work here at the CG Yard. Without this certification we cannot estimate and perform any preservations here at the CG Yard. Unless mentioned in this SOW, the Contractor shall supply all labor, equipment, and materials to provide this audit service. The AMPP auditor must come to the CG Yard and perform audits with the Paint Shop and QA Departments. In order to keep our current certification vender must be paid by November 15th. POC for this project will be Reese Scott 410-636-4503. The application for the audit and renewal will be provided by Reese Scott.
2. Additional charges beyond the scope of the SOW/Order shall be submitted in writing to POC PRIOR to the service being performed, for verbal or written authorization by the Contracting Officer.
GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK:
1. Auditor looks at our blasting and coating processes to ensure we meet requirements.
2. Auditor ensures our processes are documented for every vessel availability where blasting and painting is performed.
3. Auditor verifies our documents and records to ensure we are meeting our customers specification requirements including SFLC Standard Spec. 6310.
4. They verify our QP-1 annual application is complete.
5. AMPP must provide QP-1 certificate when complete.
