About this file

This Scope of Work (SOW) details the U.S. Embassy's requirement for replacing existing driveway paving with Kota stone at 26-A Amrita Shergill Marg in New Delhi. The project involves installing 30mm thick, 600mm x 600mm Kota stone with a granite border over the existing concrete driveway, covering a total area of 9,200 square feet. Key specifications include preparing a cement base mortar (1:3 ratio), applying a bonding agent, ensuring level installation with proper slope towards drain channels, and using professional masons for installation.

The SOW provides extensive technical requirements and safety standards for the project. Contractors must use specific materials including 53-grade OPC cement, blue quartz aggregate, and Red Granite border. The project timeline is 25 calendar days, with strict safety protocols mandating comprehensive Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), proper electrical and ladder safety measures, and adherence to fire prevention and work-at-height guidelines. The embassy will provide stainless steel drain grating and electricity/water for tools, while the contractor is responsible for all other materials, labor, equipment, and project execution.
