About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details an annual calibration and maintenance contract for twenty-one (21) Quantifit Quantitative Respirator Fit Testing Instruments used by CNRSW N35 Safety Office. The contract with Occupational Health Dynamics (OHD) covers a base year from 09 July 2025 to 08 July 2026, with four additional one-year option periods extending through 08 July 2030. The service includes annual calibration, maintenance, round-trip equipment transportation, accessory assurance, full warranty, and a 3-day in-house service turnaround, adhering to OSHA regulations and manufacturer guidelines for the precision instruments used in respiratory protection testing.

The Quantifit instruments are OSHA-accepted quantitative fit test devices utilizing controlled negative pressure fit test methods, with electronic pressure sensors capable of detecting minute pressure changes to an accuracy of +/-0.25%. OHD recommends annual servicing to ensure the instruments operate within designed parameters, using the 5-Step OHD Quantifit REDON Protocol Quantitative Respirator Fit Test System, which is written into OSHA federal regulations.

STATEMENT OF WORK

CNRSW N35 Quantifit Calibration and Maintenance service contract with OHD (Occupational Health Dynamics).

1. Background

N35 Safety HQ has twenty-one (21) Quantitative fit testing instruments which are used by our Safety specialist around the region preforming respiratory protection for those who are required to wear protective gear. These machines require calibration by the Occupational Health Dynamics once a year to maintain their certification for use.

2. Scope

The Scope of Work is for a Contractor to provide a full-service calibration and maintenance services for twenty-one (21) Occupational Health Dynamics (OHD) Quantifit Quantitative Respirator Fit Testing Instruments utilized by CNRSW Safety Office (N35) for all NRSW installations. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requires adherence to manufacturer's guidelines for maintenance and calibration to be strictly followed and OHD recommends that Quantifit Fit-Testers should be serviced and calibrated on an annual basis. Quantifit uses the only 5-Step OHD Quantifit REDON Protocol Quantitative Respirator Fit Test System written into the OHSA federal regulations.

The Quantifit is an OSHA accepted Quantitative fit test instrument. It utilizes the controlled negative pressure fit test method as outlined in the respiratory protection standard – 29 CFR 1910.134, appendix A. The Quantifit is a highly accurate precision instrument that uses electronic pressure sensors to detect minute changes to very low levels of negative pressure to an accuracy of +/-0.25%. To ensure the instrument operates at the parameters for which it is designed, OHD requires the Quantifit to receive annual maintenance and calibration at an authorized service facility.
