PART A: GENERAL INFORMATION
1.0 INTRODUCTION

Fish are identified, collected, and returned to the Delta at different fish release sites inside Government Owned Fleet Tank Trucks. The Fish and Wildlife’s 2008 Biological Opinion states any Hauling Trucks used to transport salvaged fish to release sites must inject oxygen into the tanks and must also contain an eight parts per thousand SALT solution to reduce stress, and this may reduce the chance of mortality in the fish that is transported in the tanks.
