About this file
This notice of intent outlines plans for a sole-source contract between the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the International Justice & Public Safety Network. The contract would provide annual membership for the NOAA National Weather Service's Office of Dissemination to access the National Law Enforcement Telecommunications Systems. The NLETS membership enables government agencies to share critical data through NLETS' specialized communication network. The period of performance includes a base year starting September 1, 2023 and four optional one-year extensions. Responses were due by June 7, 2023 to demonstrate capability to meet requirements. The statement of work specifies production support, national and foreign data distribution according to routing codes, backup capabilities, and notification procedures for outages or security issues. It also covers travel for quarterly and annual meetings between the contractor and NOAA representative.
