SCOPE OF WORK

FOR THE INSTALLATION OF CLOSED CIRCUIT TV CAMERAS IN BUILDING 520,

FORT SHAFTER, HAWAII

1. DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCT AND SERVICE. Closed circuit security cameras will be installed at Building 520 in common areas, stairways, and hallways. The system will serve to provide 24/7 monitoring and recording access to 311th SC (T) areas.

1.1 Cameras: Each camera will provide no less than 180-degree view, image quality of 1080p, and zoom capabilities with a minimum of 10-15 frames per second. These cameras can use motion to achieve the 180-degree view, and will be weather rated for indoor/outdoor use. Cameras will activate based on motion, and allow for manual activation at the monitoring station. Camera quantity for BLDG 520 is 14 cameras.

Cameras require a minimum of a one-year warranty.

1.2 Power Distribution Panels: At least one power distribution panel is required to power the 14 cameras. One power distribution panel in building 520 requires up to 14 channels for each. The power distribution panels require a minimum of a one-year warranty.

1.3 Monitors: All cameras will be linked to a centralized monitor in building 520 for live viewing. Monitor display will be a 42” inch viewable display. The monitor will be HDMI compatible, with 1080p, compatible with the DVR, and capable of view all cameras at once if required. Monitors require a minimum of a one year warranty.

1.4 DVRs: A DVR is required in building 520 with a minimum of 14 channels. DVR storage hard drive storage space will be 16 terabytes or higher will be utilized to achieve 60 days or more of high definition storage for retroactive viewing purposes. The ability to add additional hard drive storage by the customer is acceptable. The DVR will be accessible with a key to prevent tampering of files. Protection from weather is mandatory to prevent overheating or corrosion from moisture. The DVR requires a minimum of a one-year warranty.

2. INSTALLATION. Contractor shall install replacement security cameras at existing locations in building 520. The contractor is responsible for all wiring, and materials needed to complete installation, and will conduct a site visit to determine appropriate coverage based on floorplans submitted by the customer. Wiring for cameras will be out of sight through the ceiling, wall, or installed in a minimum of ¼ inch conduit near the ceiling.

2.1 General Requirements:

All paint, trims and carpet damaged must be replaced with matching material.

All utility outages shall be coordinated with the occupants and DPW. All requests for utility outages must be provided at least 10 working days in advance.

Contractor shall ensure the work area is free of debris and safety hazards upon completion of work each day.

Contractor shall provide a phasing schedule to minimize impact on normal operations. Working during the weekend may be required.

A pre-construction conference shall be held with the contractor, and customer POC prior to the start of any work. At the time of the conference, the contractor shall provide the following:
