STATEMENT OF WORK

Region: BIA Western Regional Office, Phoenix, AZ

Agency /Tribe: Fort Apache Agency - Fire Management The Fort Apache Agency is planning to purchase fourteen (14) KNG-Ml50, MK Radios-KNG P25, 5000 Channel. These mobile radios will assist firefighters during prescribed burns and wildJand fires for all communication on any incident. The Fort Apache Engine crew duty station is located in the Rick Lupe Fire Management building at 180 W. Horseshoe Dr. Whiteriver, AZ

EQUIPMENT CONDITION: New Equipment Only; NO remanufactured or “gray market” items.

TRIBAL TAXES, REQUIREMENTS AND/OR RESTRICTIONS: (a) Special attention is called to FAR Clause 52.236-7, Permits and Responsibilities and FAR Clause 52.229-3, Federal, State and Local Taxes. Quoters are responsible for contacting the tax authorities and tribe or tribal organization involved with regard to any requirements regarding state taxes, tribal taxes, royalties and/or other applicable tribal laws or ordinances. Any costs associated with this section shall be included in the contractor’s quote. (b) Contractor is responsible for contacting the Office of the Tribal Tax commission and the Office of Tribal Labor relations for tribal taxes and Indian Preference employment information and the current state tax rate.
