About this file

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the procurement and implementation of a Real-Time PCR System for the Abdel-Latif laboratory at the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 10. The solicitation number is 36C25026Q0499. The primary objective is to acquire a robust real-time PCR platform capable of high-sensitivity gene expression quantification, genotyping, and multiplex analysis to support ongoing and planned molecular research initiatives.

The Real-Time PCR System must meet specific technical specifications including a 96-well or 384-well block configuration with fast protocol capability, white LED excitation source with OptiFlex technology (6 decoupled channels for 96-well format or 5 coupled channels for 384-well format), VeriFlex Block technology with 6 independent temperature zones, integrated touchscreen interface with cloud connectivity, and compliance with 21 CFR Part 11 guidelines. The system must complete 40-cycle runs in under 30 minutes for 96-well format or 35 minutes for 384-well format, and include factory calibration for multiple dyes (FAM, SYBR Green, VIC, NED, ABY, JUN, Mustang Purple, TAMRA, Cy5, and ROX). Deliverables include equipment delivery and installation with setup documentation, RNase P verification plate, orientation and user training provided by a trained technical scientist or eLearning modules, instrument qualification (IQ), operational qualification (OQ), and performance verification services (IPV), installation and qualification reports, and performance verification documentation. The vendor shall provide a one-year limited warranty from installation date (or 15 months from shipment) and optional post-warranty service contracts with next-business-day on-site repair availability.
