STATEMENT OF WORK
PROJECT NUMBER: PJMS 232003
MARYLAND AIR NATIONAL GUARD
MARTIN STATE AIRPORT
BALTIMORE, MARYLAND
23 MAY 2023
1. Scope: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary as defines in this SOW to install industrial fans (High-Volume Low-speed Fan) at building 1070, located on 175th Maryland Air National Guard, Middle River, Maryland 21220
1.1. Introduction and background:
1.2. Install industrial fans (High-Volume Low-speed Fan (HVLF)) in building 1070 (MXS Hangar). Throughout the year the maintenance hangar becomes either warm or cold. The fans would improve the temperature within the maintenance hangar by circulating the air flow during the year. The hangar has large doors to open during the summer months but with the lack of air flow it stays warm inside and the air is stagnant. During the winter months, with the heat on in the hangar for the members the fans would be utilized to circulate the heat from the heaters that are around 15 feet above the floor. This will provide members with a controlled work environment to lessen either heat or cold weather-related injuries.
1.3. Objectives: The 175th MXS seeks to have install industrial fans (High-Volume Low-speed Fan (HVLF)) in building 1070 (MXS Hangar). The HVLF will help to modernize and provide the maintenance hangar with proper air flow during the cold and warm months.
1.4. Places of Performance: Building 1070, located on 175th Maryland Air National Guard, Middle River, Maryland 21220.
1.5. Contractor Passes: Passes are only issued to personnel who have properly submitted a locally generated WF 113 Wing Installation Access Application (available from the Contracting Office or from the COR) and have been cleared through an approved background investigation by the 175th Security Forces Squadron. Contractors who will be working on the installation need to complete an Antiterrorism Level I training. The training can be found at http://jko.jten.mil/courses/atl1/launch.html. Please ensure contractors are attaching their certificates along with their applications. Contractors who have not completed an Antiterrorism Level I training will not be allowed on the installation.
Contractor Passes are only issued to contractors who will be required to work more than 14-days on the installation in performance of their contract. For contractors requiring less than 14 days of access, an AF FM 75, Visitors Pass, will be issued upon a favorable background investigation.
The contractor shall comply with all applicable installation/facility access and local security policies and procedures, which may be obtained from the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR). The contractor shall also provide all information required for background checks to meet installation access requirements to be accomplished by the local installation’s Security Forces, Director of Emergency Services or local Security Office.
