About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details a construction project for the Department of Veterans Affairs to renovate Building T 111 at the Boise Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The project involves comprehensive renovation work including new exterior walls, a sloped roof, concrete foundation, concrete ramps/porch, interior updates such as bathroom modifications, new walls, flooring, painting, door updates, and HVAC package unit upgrades. The contract has a 274-calendar day period of performance starting from the Notice to Proceed, with the Contracting Officer's Representative being Patrick Bird from the Facility Management Service located in Boise, Idaho. The project emphasizes that hospital operations take precedence, meaning construction activities may be restricted, curtailed, or rescheduled to minimize disruption to medical center functions, with strict requirements for safety, infection control, and site security.
